Bonaire Regatta is a big national celebration held every October. It consists of a sailing competition in the daytime and a festival at night. Sailors from all over the Caribbean in all classes and ages come to the island to compete against each other in this 4 day event.

The event will commence on the 6th of October and will end on the 12th of October 2024.

 

The sailing competition will be held in front in Playa. The courses will run between the island of Bonaire and Klein Bonaire. 

 

This year, most races will take place between the main island and Klein Bonaire. However, for smaller categories like micro boats, optimists, and Sunfish, a dedicated course will be provided. Additionally, the exciting "boto di piskado" category returns, showcasing traditional fishing boats.
